How to become an Airforce Officer?


hello m nidhi doing ma b.tech 3rd in c.s.e plzzz tell me the way the entrance xam though them i will fullfill ma aim to bcm an airforce officer

DO YOU HAVE IT IN YOU

Indian air force is having 3 branches
1.technical officers
2.ground duty officers
3.flying officers

technical officers:-
how to get into this.
1.if you are engineering you have to write EKT (engineering knowledge test ) at respective air force stations.

ground duty officers:-
how to get into this:-
1.if you have opted for ground duty you forms will be short listed in head quarters. then you will be intimate by post for selection

flying officers:-
how to get into this:-
1.through CDSE(central defense service exam) exam

these were the prelims but now the mains gonna start:-
1. selection procedure through SSB(service selection board)
2.there will be medical test thereafter
3.all INDIA merit list will be displayed in employment news.
4.training in respective branch
5.now you will be officer

A FLYING OFFICER......

You can join IAF with btec degree for various technical jobs but 60% marks are necessary for applying. You can apply through UNIVERSITY ENTRY SCHEME & COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE examination and can become aeronautical engineer mechanical or electronics and flying officer. you can join-flying branch technical branch ground duty branch via taking exams like UES CDS SSC NDA.after selection you will become officer through promotion

Hi

There are various entry scheme in Indian air through which you can apply as an officer in Indian Air force. The students of the Pre-final year and the Final year are eligible to appear for this exam.

The eligibility criteria for the various entry mode is described below:

1.For Pre Final year
The students of the Pre-final year can apply for the Indian air force through the University Entry Scheme. This entry scheme is only for men.

Age limit:
Candidates applying for this entry scheme should be between 18-28 years of age.

This entry scheme is for technical trade and is a permanent commission.

2.For Final year
Final year student can apply for the Indian Air force in the following branches for the officer rank:

a. Flying Branch

Through CDSE
Candidates having graduate degree are eligible for the flying branch.
OR
Candidates studying in the final year of engineering or having degree of engineering are eligible to appear for the flying branch in Indian Air force.

Age
The age limit for this entry is 19 to 23 years.

Gender
This entry mode is applicable for men only.

Advertisement Schedule:
April and September Every Year

Through Flying (Pilot) Short Service Commission
Candidates studying in the final year of engineering or having degree of engineering and have at least 60% without any back left are eligible to appear for the flying branch in Indian Air force.
The service period through this entry is only of 14 years.

Age
The age limit for this entry is 19 to 23 years and 19 to 25 Years for CPL Holders.

Gender
This entry scheme is applicable for both men and women.

Advertisement Schedule:
March and September Every Year

2. Technical Branch
The candidate of engineering studying in final year or having degree of engineering are eligible to appear for the technical branch.

Age
The age limit for this entry mode is18 to 28 years.

Gender
This entry scheme is applicable for both men and women.

Advertisement Schedule:
February and August Every Year

dear

after 12th you have to appear in NDA exam if you are able to clear that then you will be called for medical there you have to appear in PABT test for pilot if you clear that then you are eligible to be a pilot

i n pursuing my career in hotel management and i had pcm in 12th class and got 76.3% in pcm and i am of 19 yrs .how can i be a airforce officer.

Hi this is sushma swami.
I am a student of 12th sci maths group and i have an aim of becoming an air force officer since my childhood,but i've read somewhere that for flying branch women get only short service commision.What's this short service commision and can't girls get entry in flying branch....can you please suggest me what to do n which field to choose after 12th.
