Re: Can I get post in Indian Police Service after studying B.A part 1? Hello friend, you doesn't have to take tension about it. In IPS you have a graduation degree from a recognised university from india. They can't see what happenend in your first year exam there is only need of graduation degree with at least 55% marks.It doesn't matter you do B.a, b.com , B.sc or nay other degree. thanks friend to ask question from this forum. |

After passing B.A you can join I.P.S. For this you have to qualify the Civil Services exam. Civil Services Exam is conducted by U.PS.C once in a year. In this exam the candidate from any stream can apply. Age limit:- For Open category:- 21-30 year For OBC category:- 21-33 YEAR For ST/SC category:- 21-37 year Number of Attempts:- For open category:- 4 attempts For ST/SC category:- 7 attempts There are four stage of selection:- > Prelims Written Exam > Mains Exam > Interview > Medical Exam For more detail log on to www.upsc.gov.in GOOD LUCK! |

You can still join indian police even though you have failed your B.a part 1 exam, you can check the advertisment for the post of constable at the official website of your state police force , it will also be published in the local dailies whenever there is any recruitment . inorder to be an IPS officer you need to complete your Graduation and crack the civil service exam .All the best |
