You can still join indian police even though you have failed your B.a part 1 exam, you can check the advertisment for the post of constable at the official website of your state police force , it will also be published in the local dailies whenever there is any recruitment .


inorder to be an IPS officer you need to complete your Graduation and crack the civil service exam .All the best

After passing B.A you can join I.P.S.
For this you have to qualify the Civil Services exam.
Civil Services Exam is conducted by U.PS.C once in a year.

In this exam the candidate from any stream can apply.

Age limit:-
For Open category:- 21-30 year
For OBC category:- 21-33 YEAR
For ST/SC category:- 21-37 year

Number of Attempts:-
For open category:- 4 attempts
For ST/SC category:- 7 attempts

There are four stage of selection:-
> Prelims Written Exam
> Mains Exam
> Interview
> Medical Exam
