Re: Can I apply for TCS with 65% in BE? My friend, You have enough marks in graduation level [65%]. But you did not tell your marks in 10th and 12th examination. Normally TCS wants 60% throughout your academic career. Here is the criteria details for TCS : 1.You must have 60% in your whole academic career. 2.Maximum 2 years of study gap is allowed here. 3.No pending backlogs are allowed. |

But sometimes in some criteria TCS company also look for 12th marks whether it is 60% or not if you had not score 60% or above marks in 12 in that case you are not apply for TCS. Re: Can I apply for TCS with 65% in BE? You can apply for the TCS but it mostly depend on the eligibility criteria they needed in your campus. But generally the eligibility they want is fit for you. TCS will have the following eligibility criteria in most of the campuses. B.tech 6cgp (60%) 10+2 60-65% 10 60-65% if you are not eligible from the college(on campus) ..you can apply off campus. |

Re: Can I apply for TCS with 65% in BE? Hi You can apply for the TCS but it mostly depend on the eligibility criteria they needed in your campus. But generally the eligibility they want is fit for you. TCS will have the following eligibility criteria in most of the campuses. B.tech 60% 10+2 60-65% 10 60-65% So if you have the given eligibility then you are eligible for the TCS. You have to prepare yourself for the interview to clear this exam. Generally the questions they asked are on yourself,some technical questions and questions on current affairs. Also note that in some campus they conduct the small written test which is generally based on the verbal and non-verbal so you have to prepare for that also. The best information regarding the eligibility criteria for this you will get from you placement cell. GOOD LUCK |

Re: Can I apply for TCS with 65% in BE? it is very important to maintain ur aggre above 60 frm 5th sem onwards as few company comes to ur coll see the last sem aggre or they will see full aggre hence it s very important to maintain ur aggre above 60 but as tcs eligibility criteria r:- 1.ur percentage should be more then 50% in 10th and 12 th clss 2. and in be it shud be more than 60%(more than first class) 3.there shud not any gap between the graduation (not more than 2 yrs) 4.if u r going 4 walkin then take pass paort size photo,ur marksheet copy,experience or ineternship letter if u have done,etc. if u r in a gud coll and ur aggre is more than 60 or 65 then u don thav e to worry good luck |

You have a very good score in your engineering but since you are having less than 60 % in 12th, you will not be an eligible candidate for appearing the tests in top MNC's. So you can try out for small software companies and then with experience you can try top MNC's. But if you can, you can try with the help of any internals in TCS and get eligible for the test and then show them your talents So don't worry, you'll get a good job. All the best. |

Re: Can I apply for TCS with 65% in BE? today allmost all well known companies require at least 60% and you have sufficient marks to apply . but in this competitive environment it is better to have good percentage because the company will select the student having greater percentage first ,then your chance will come. you have sufficient marks but it is not sufficient to get a job .your communication skill is also a major factor. |

The vacent post will full fill this year Eligibility criteria Any degree of BE, BTech, MCA, M.Tech Experience :- fresher pass out in 2009/2010 Remuneration:-Rs 20,000 for fresher Three step interview 1) first step releated to technical knowledgemens you may ask question anything about you have written in the resume related c,c++, linux 2) secound round related to will be HR round 3) Third round related to managment round. keep in mind that even if you clear 1st and 2nd round. But according to your Academics records, you have not scored marks in your 12th exams. So you are not eligible for TCS. Top MNC 's like Wipro HCL TCS conduct Campus interviews in reputed colleges and Universities And to appear in these Company Recruitment, then You should have Scored60% marks from your 10th Class With good communication skills, Only then you are eligible for MNC's Companies. |

Re: Can I apply for TCS with 65% in BE? dear friends, dont worry. you have sufficient criteria to appear the campus, bacause the minimum percentage to appear campus is 60% for freshers in TCS. they are performing tes on aptitude test(comprises of Critical, Logical/ Quantitative and Verbal Reasoning. ) On clearing the aptitude test, you would undergo the interview process (HR round) congrats you are alligible to join TCS Campus , rest is depends on ur performance .
