hallo frnd........u can apply for tcs with 65% marks.but at the time of placement sometimes some companies decide criteria that is throughout 60% means till nw in ur qualification u score 60% marks.so if u hv nt 60% in matric or 2 then u r not eligible.Before applying any company firstly chek their eligibility conditions.try to score more than 70% if u want to try to infosis or some other companies also because sometimes they ask throughout 70% marks.

its better to apply to tcs as of now heavy recuirment have started to take place and every company is trying to recruit as much as possible.. so it would be better to just give it a try rather than to let it go completely.... or just once have a glance of the complete eligibity criteria posted by the respective company befor in hand..........

1.)need to have consistence 60% from 10th,12th and B.tech..
2.)Should not have more than 2years Education Gap....

nice to see you having 65% till 7th semester.
you can apply for the TCS as you full fill the criteria of eligibility.
but before filling up the form of any company do check the criteria because they generally need them 50% at the time of 12 and 10 but some companies want 60%.

don't worry about your 10th and 12th marks. the main thing that you should be careful is your graduation marks. most probably, TCS would take you with 65% marks. as this year TCS is planning to recruit students in large number. So if you are lucky enough, you would be seen among the TCS employees.
but beware buddy, you got to work hard a lot if you got to get into companies like the Infosys, CTS etc. well you can also try writing the UPSC exams or any other public service exams to enter into Govt jobs, provided you score well.

Since there are rules by most of the companies which demand a gud marks as well as a well known experience, I will suggest you that it is easy for you to enter TCS. You can try for many other companies like infosys, wipro, hcl etc.
You can go to different colleges to try your best, and once you are selected in written exam then its way easy for you.
Apart from this, if you even have any relatives or any friend or any of your friends relatives you can try for recommendation since recommendation helps a lot and never shy for recommendation as it helps a lot as well as it would still make the process easier for you to enter sometimes even without prior exams and just an interview.

I am sorry to say but you can not apply to TCS since you do not satisfy their eligibility criteria.

The TCS eligibility criteria for recruitment of freshers is as follows:
Minimum 60% in class 10th, 12th & graduation (all semesters including optional subjects)
Less than 2 years of gap in their academic career.

Software companies not only consider BTech / BE marks they also give equal importance to percentage of marks obtained in 10th & 10+2 exam. So less than 60% at 12th might create problems for you.

But don't loose heart even if you score below 60% marks in 10+2 you will still get some good job posts. Because there are some companies which require less than 60% (mostly 50% or 55%) as a cut off for appearing in campus recruitment/ applying for a particular job post.

of coarse friend you can apply for the job on tcs only with 60%.

you have sufficient criteria to appear the campus, bacause the minimum percentage to appear campus is 60% for freshers in TCS.
they are performing tes on

aptitude test(comprises of Critical, Logical/ Quantitative and Verbal Reasoning. )

On clearing the aptitude test, you would undergo the interview process (HR round)

the eligibility criterion for TCS is that you should have minimum of 60% marks throughout. but you don't have 60% marks in 12th so you are not eligible for TCS.

but do not worry. there are so many company which don't have such type of criterion. apply for that type of company. surely you will be placed in good company.

If you are Interested to apply in TCS, Then for this you need 60% Consistent academic records from Class 10th onwards.

But according to your Academics records, you have not scored marks in your 12th exams. So you are not eligible for TCS.

but in this competitive environment it is better to have good percentage because the company will select the student having greater percentage first ,then your chance will come.

you have sufficient marks but it is not sufficient to get a job .your communication skill is also a major factor.

yes you have sufficient marks to apply .only you need to do is to strengthen your communication skill because only marks is not enough for selection .marks is only a minor factor to judge student.try to gain practical knowledge not just theoretical.

You have a very good score in your engineering but since you are having less than 60 % in 12th, you will not be an eligible candidate for appearing the tests in top MNC's.

So you can try out for small software companies and then with experience you can try top MNC's.

But if you can, you can try with the help of any internals in TCS and get eligible for the test and then show them your talents

So don't worry, you'll get a good job.

1.60% in 10th & 12th standard.
2.60% in B.E OR B.TECH.
so as u have 65% in ur B.E & u have fulfill above criteria then u can apply for TCS exam.

2 back logs are also premitted in this year

it is very important to maintain ur aggre above 60 frm 5th sem onwards as few company comes to ur coll see the last sem aggre or they will see full aggre hence it s very important to maintain ur aggre above 60

but as tcs eligibility criteria r:-
1.ur percentage should be more then 50% in 10th and 12 th clss
2. and in be it shud be more than 60%(more than first class)
3.there shud not any gap between the graduation (not more than 2 yrs)
4.if u r going 4 walkin then take pass paort size photo,ur marksheet copy,experience or ineternship letter if u have done,etc.

if u r in a gud coll and ur aggre is more than 60 or 65 then u don thav e to worry

In TCS every one can apply who have more than 60% aggregate in their engineering.
Its depends on their criteria because now they allow throughout 60% and now allow 2 backs also so you are eligible for TCS.

see its totaly depend on ur collage on campus criteria..... mostly TCS say 60% throughout and u have a problem in 12 th marks....
u jst keep on trying many companies will be coming in collage whoo ony ask fr btech cutoff and u hav more thn 65 its enough fr tht

you caan apply for TCS if you have 65%marks throughout the degree without any active back log and you can also apply for all IT companies like tech mahindra, infosys, accenture, etc

Friend your 12th class marks is low. TCS eligibility is 60% in B.E and also 60% in 10th and 12th, and no more then 2 year gap. So sorry friend you can not apply for TCS but don't worry many company accepted this and offer job. i wish you will get a good job in a big company.

You can apply for the TCS but it mostly depend on the eligibility criteria they needed in your campus. But generally the eligibility they want is fit for you. TCS will have the following eligibility criteria in most of the campuses.
B.tech 60%
10+2 60-65%
10 60-65%

So if you have the given eligibility then you are eligible for the TCS. You have to prepare yourself for the interview to clear this exam. Generally the questions they asked are on yourself,some technical questions and questions on current affairs.

Also note that in some campus they conduct the small written test which is generally based on the verbal and non-verbal so you have to prepare for that also.
