For PhD in Bioinformatics first of all you should have good grades in graduation and post graduation and should have deep interest in Information technology. Eligibility criteria: BE/BTech in CS/IT/Biotech/Bioinformatics or Master's degree in Programming/Maths/Sciences. Duration: 3 - 5 years There are various institutes providing the same.. I would recommend to do it form the following 1) IIIT-D (Indraprastha Institue of Information Technology, Delhi) 2) IIIT-H (International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad) Many recruiters are there including top IT companies Wipro Ocimumbio Reliance Jubilant Biosys Satyam Tata Consultancy Services Accelrys, Inc. IBM Life Sciences BioMed Informatics Silicon Genetics and Tessella Job titles: - Lecturer Database designer Scientists Bio-analytics Self-employment Informatics developer Researcher Software developer Marketing Executive Service provider in discovery software and in research applications |
