Hi dear..
For PhD in Bioinformatics first of all you should have good grades in graduation and post graduation and should have deep interest in Information technology.

Eligibility criteria: BE/BTech in CS/IT/Biotech/Bioinformatics or Master's degree in Programming/Maths/Sciences.

Duration:
3 - 5 years

I would recommend to do it form the following

1) IIIT-D (Indraprastha Institue of Information Technology, Delhi)
2) IIIT-H (International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad)
