Re: Minimum age limit for Bank PO Exams? Dear Friend, Age Limit for IBPS for IBPS PO age should be between 21 to 30 years. There is age relaxation according to Government rules for reserved categories. SC/ST - 5 years relaxation OBC - 3 years relaxation PWD - 10 years relaxation Selection Procedure: -Objective Type Test which will have negative marking for wrong answers. If you pass this test then only you will be called for next stage. -Interview and Group discussion will be conducted for those who qualify written and the merit is prepared on the basis of marks in the Written and Interview. The Age Limit for Both the exams differ from each other. P.O. - Probationary Officer, the exam for which is generally conducted by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) and also by other private banks. The age limit for SBI/IBPS P.O. exam is from 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for OBC candidate up to 3 years and for SC/ST up to 5 years. Apart from this the eligible candidate must be an Indian national having completed Graduation Degree in any stream of education from a recognised University with good command over computer operation, can apply for P.O. exam. To apply for sbi po exam candidate should have Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Age of candidate should be between 21 to 30 year to sit in sbi exam. If you are appear in IBPS po exam then you should have 60% marks in graduation. Age of candidate between 20 years to 28 years for po exam in IBPS. |

IBPS Bank PO SBI Bank PO The Institute of Banking Personnel Services (IBPS) conducts the Bank PO entrance exam for 19 Public sector banks. This exam is generally conducted in June but this year it is expected to be conducted in September. The registration process is expected to begin in August. IBPS Bank PO Eligibility 1. You should have graduation degree. 2. 60 percent marks in it. 3. A certificate in Computer operating skills. 4. Else Computer Science should be subject in School or college. 5. Age limit which you requested is 20 to 28 years. 6. Upper age limit is relaxed for OBC by 3 years. 7. Upper age limit is 33 years for SC/ST. 8. Person with Disability can apply till 38 years. State Bank of India also conducts a Bank PO entrance exam. Unlike most of the PSU banks, SBI do not rely on IBPS for conducting its exam. SBI Bank PO Eligibility 1. SBI will only hire candidate with Indian citizenship. 2. You should have completed graduation. 3. 65 percent or more marks in it. 4. 5 percent relaxation for SC/ST. 5. Must have basic Computer operating skills. 6. Age limit for this exam is 21 to 30 years. 7. Relaxation is 3 years for OBC, 8. and 5 years for SC/ST in upper age limit. |

Like if you wants to appear in govt. bank Po exam then the candidate must have 60% aggregate through out the career.. And the candidates age should be in between 21-30 years.. For SC/ST the age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the age relaxation is 3 years.. If you wants to appear in private bank PO exam, then you must have 55% aggregate through out the career.... And the candidates age should be in between 21-30 years .. For SC/ST the age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the relaxation is 3 years. So, go for it.. All the best. |

In case of candidates who have worked in scheduled commercial bank(s) in the field of Agriculture/Rural business, the upper age will be relaxed by the completed number of years of experience of the candidates, subject to maximum of 5 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit to reserved category candidates: 3 years in the case of OBC candidates (ii) 5 years in the case of SC/ST/Ex-servicemen (iii) 10 years for VH/OH (Gen); 13 years for VH/OH (OBC) and 15 years for VH/OH (SC/ST) candidates.
