Re: Any institutes in IIT which have Astrophysics subject? According to my knowledge there is no any institute in IIT which offers Astrophysics. Re: Any institutes in IIT which have Astrophysics subject? currently i am studying in 12th std (science). i am also preparing for iit side by side . i am interested in astrophysics . but one of the posts above says that none of the iit institutes offer astrophysics as a subject. what should i do . should i take admission in one of the above colleges ?? or are there any other options.. |

There are no IITs in India which offer Astrophysics subject but if you have interest about the astrophysics you can go for the IISc.IISc is the top most institute which offer astrospace as well as astrophysics. After the completion of you graduation you can go for researching areas like NASA. All the best.... |

IIT Kanour and IIT Bombay provides b.tech in aerospace engineering but not in astrophysics. but indian institute of science IISc Bangalore provides a degree in astrophysics, so if you're interested in shaping your future in astrophysics and join reputational insitutes like ISRO and NASA, you should get an admission in IISc. gud luck |

I you are really intersted in astrophysics, i have given few other colleges, where this course is offered..... the first 2 institues are good ones! 1.
