please tell me whether there institutes in iit which have astrophysics subject?....n for getting seats if not in iit then where else?

sorry....there are no IIT institues in india which offers Astrophysics.

I you are really intersted in astrophysics, i have given few other colleges, where this course is offered.....

which Institutes In India offer B.Sc. In Astrophysics?

Is there a possiblity that any IIT would open an astrophysics branch in near future?
Please brief regarding any possibility!!

I am a student of elaven scince. Can i take preparation for astrotrophysis from now?

there is no IIT in which you can pursue your engineering in astrophysics.
IIT Kanour and IIT Bombay provides b.tech in aerospace engineering but not in astrophysics.
but indian institute of science IISc Bangalore provides a degree in astrophysics, so if you're interested in shaping your future in astrophysics and join reputational insitutes like ISRO and NASA, you should get an admission in IISc.

Hi friend....

There are no IITs in India which offer Astrophysics subject but if you have interest about the astrophysics you can go for the IISc.IISc is the top most institute which offer astrospace as well as astrophysics. After the completion of you graduation you can go for researching areas like NASA.

Dear aspirant,
am very sorry to say that ,in india specially for iit's, there are no so course for pursuing.
so you have to opted for others subject or other universities.

currently i am studying in 12th std (science). i am also preparing for iit side by side . i am interested in astrophysics . but one of the posts above says that none of the iit institutes offer astrophysics as a subject. what should i do . should i take admission in one of the above colleges ?? or are there any other options..

i means anyone cannot be a cosmologist from iit? so how to get admission in other institution pls tell me how much marks should i secure in jee mains and advanced to get in such institution

Is Indian institude of astrophysics,Banglore will heip me to become scientist of ISRO and large hydron collider project ?

According to my knowledge there is no any institute in IIT which offers Astrophysics.
