Re: Last date for submission of AFCAT exam?  Age Limit: Candidates age limit is 19-23 years for Flying branch 18 to 28 years Technical Branch 20 for 27 years Ground Duty Branches as on 01/07/2014. Relaxation is applicable as per the rules. How to Apply: Interested candidates can apply online through IAF career website by filling all the mandatory details from 08-06-2013 to 07-07-2013. Selection process: 1. Written exam 2. Medical test. AFCAT stands for Airforce Common Admission Test. 3 branches in AFCAT:- Flying branch, Ground Duty branch, Technical branch. Eligibility details for Flying Branch:- The applicant should be complete a Bachelor's degree in engineering (i.e BE/B.Tech) from a recognised university. Age limits: The age limits of the candidates should be in between 19 years to 23 years. Eligibility details for Technical branch:- The candidate should be complete graduation in Aeronautical engineering or electronics engineering or mechanical engineering from a recognised university. Age limits:- The age limits are 18 years to 28 years. Eligibility details for Ground Duty branch:- The applicant should be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university. Age criteria:- The age limits are 20 years to 25 years. Selection process:- Written exam, Medical test. AFCAT Stands Air Force Common Admission Test AFCAT have following branches Flying Branch Technical Branch Ground Duty Branches Eligibility : Candidates must be Indian Flying Branch : Candidates must be complete Graduation with min of 60% aggregate from a recognized university & 12th stands with Physics & Maths (OR) B.E/B.Tech Age limit between 19 to 23 years Technical Branches : Candidates must be complete Engineering with 60% aggregate from a recognized university Age limit between 18 to 28 years Ground Duty Branches : Candidates must be complete Graduation with min of 60% aggregate from a recognized University (OR) PG Degree in any stream with min of 50% aggregate Age Limit : 20 to 23 years for Graduates candidates 20 to 25 years for PG candidates AFCAT Exam Dates : Start date of online applications : 08.06.2013 Last date to apply online : 07.07.2013 Exam Date : 25.08.2013 |
