AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test.

AFCAT is an Entrance test conducted for Selection of candidates in defence sector various branch of Indian Air force(Flying, ground, Technical).

For Applying Flying Branch A candidate must have completed their Graduation degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) From Recognized Universities.Your age should be between 19 to 23 years.

For Applying Technical Branch of AFCAT A candidate must have Completed Their Graduation Degree in Aeronautical Engineering either in Electronics or in Mechanical Engineering are eligible for this post .Your age should be between 18 to 28 years.

For Ground Duty Branch , a candidate should have completed at least their Bachelor Degree can apply here .Your age should be between 20 to 25 years.

AFCAT Stands Air Force Common Admission Test

AFCAT have following branches

Flying Branch

Technical Branch

Ground Duty Branches

Eligibility :

Candidates must be Indian

Flying Branch : Candidates must be complete Graduation with min of 60% aggregate from a recognized university & 12th stands with Physics & Maths (OR) B.E/B.Tech

Age limit between 19 to 23 years

Technical Branches : Candidates must be complete Engineering with 60% aggregate from a recognized university

Age limit between 18 to 28 years

Ground Duty Branches : Candidates must be complete Graduation with min of 60% aggregate from a recognized University (OR) PG Degree in any stream with min of 50% aggregate

Age Limit :

20 to 23 years for Graduates candidates

20 to 25 years for PG candidates

Start date of online applications : 08.06.2013

Last date to apply online : 07.07.2013

Exam Date : 25.08.2013
