No Annamalai University is not recognized by ICAR and Annamalai graduates in Agriculture are not eligible to appear for the Kerala PSC exams Agriculture Officer examinations as per the PSC notification, which states only graduates from ICAR recognised colleges are eligible to apply. Further, the candidates have to get equivalence certificate from Kerala Agriculture University. As Annamalai BSc is not recognised by ICAR, Kau may not issue equivalence certificate. |

Your college should be AICTE recognised and University should be UGC recognised.Your degree of technical or professional course such as B.tech,M.tech,MCA,MBA,BCA,B.Pharm and few others,will be valid only when the COLLEGE is AICTE recognised.If your university is AICTE recognised then it has nothing to do with your college.But if your degree is not from technical field as B.Sc,B.Com,B.A etc then you will not need AICTE approved college. |

Hi dear, Annamalai University has been accredited by The National Assessment and Accreditation Council at the B++. It is a unitary, teaching and residential university which was founded in 1929. Since its inception, it has progressively tried to realize the aims of noble Founder Dr.Rajah Sir Annamalai Chettiar of Chettinad. During the last 80 years the University has grown rapidly and has consolidated its position as a unitary and residential university with -49 Departments of Study and -over 3240 members on its teaching staff. Everybody knows Annamalai University is recognized by UGC and accreditated by NACC. But the truth is Annamalai University is not recognized by ICAR and It is not receiving any ICAR grant-in-aid for education and research. All its agriculture and horticulture UG and PG programs are not accreditated by ICAR Accreditation Board. This is the Truth. Every students should understand clearly. |
