Is Annamalai University of Tamil nadu(India) is recognised by ICAR and UGC. Will there be any problem in future studyiny in this university.

Annamalai University has been accredited by The National Assessment and Accreditation Council at the B++.

It is a unitary, teaching and residential university which was founded in 1929.

Since its inception, it has progressively tried to realize the aims of noble Founder Dr.Rajah Sir Annamalai Chettiar of Chettinad.

During the last 80 years the University has grown rapidly and has consolidated its position as a unitary and residential university with
-49 Departments of Study and
-over 3240 members on its teaching staff.

The university campus, including the colleges, hostels, and playgrounds,occupies of about thousand acres

There will not be any problems at all for you if you continue your studies in this university

Annamalai University university was set up in in 1929. This on one out of the oldest universities in India. It is approved by NAAC.

It will not be any problem if you continue your study in the university.

The annamalai university is recignised in by the UGC and is established by the guides lines of the education department.

there is no prob studying there... ur future is secure!!!

Everybody knows Annamalai University is recognized by UGC and accreditated by NACC. But the truth is Annamalai University is not recognized by ICAR and It is not receiving any ICAR grant-in-aid for education and research. All its agriculture and horticulture UG and PG programs are not accreditated by ICAR Accreditation Board. This is the Truth. Every students should understand clearly.

Wheather the integrated courses offered by Annamalai university is recognised or not.

Annamalai university is not Recognized by ICAR and the other state students pursuing BSC (Ag) or BSC (Vet) are not eligible for AO or Vet positions in other states they have to go for MBA (Agribusiness Mgmt, PGDMA , offered by Mange, NAARM or any other Institutes which are offering the agri courses . for Info Contact: me [email protected].

Hello sir. Many of people saying that by studying Bsc agriculture in ugc are not eligible for ICAR JRF? Can you please explain the clear explanation about this sir?

Your college should be AICTE recognised and University should be UGC recognised.Your degree of technical or professional course such as B.tech,M.tech,MCA,MBA,BCA,B.Pharm and few others,will be valid only when the COLLEGE is AICTE recognised.If your university is AICTE recognised then it has nothing to do with your college.But if your degree is not from technical field as B.Sc,B.Com,B.A etc then you will not need AICTE approved college.

No Annamalai University is not recognized by ICAR and Annamalai graduates in Agriculture are not eligible to appear for the Kerala PSC exams Agriculture Officer examinations as per the PSC notification, which states only graduates from ICAR recognised colleges are eligible to apply. Further, the candidates have to get equivalence certificate from Kerala Agriculture University. As Annamalai BSc is not recognised by ICAR, Kau may not issue equivalence certificate.

For only 2 years annamalai university got icar accreditation. In future it may be extended to further 3 years.
