DETAILS ABOUT BSNL JTO EXAM

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :

JTO-TELECOM

Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equivalent Engineering degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized engineering college/university.

i. Telecommunication,
ii. Electronics,
iii. Radio,
iv. Computer,
v. Electrical.
vi. Information Technology

Final year student are eligible for JTO exam..

JTO-CIVIL

You must have Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution/University.

JTO-ELECTRICAL

You must have Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology or equivalent in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institution/University.

AGE LIMITATION:-

The maximum age for JTO exam is 30 years.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

NATIONALITY:-

Only Indian Citizen are applicable.

For this year BSNL JTO exam date not announced yet.

1. The applicant should be a graduate in any of the following streams :

Computer
Radio
Electronics
Telecommunications
Electrical
IT

2. A final year appearing student can also apply for the JTO exam.

Thus you can apply to this exam as per your convenience.

Eligibility:
For JTO (Telecom) vacancies candidates having a Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology in any of the following streams are eligible:-

Telecommunications

Electrical or electronics

Radio engg and

Computer engineering

Information Technology.

Candidates must possess the bachelors degree on or before 31/12/2009.

For JTO( Civil) vacancies candidates must possess BE/BTECH or its equivalent in Civil engineering.

For JTO( Electrical) vacancies candidates must possess BE/BTECH or its equivalent degree in Electrical engineering from a recognized university.

Yes final year appearing students are eligible for JTO examination.

you are eligible for JTO exam because this exam is conduct in may -june that time you have passed your semester and then you will be eligible for any exam.
this exam is conduct for electronics,electrical,radio....

Yes definitely you are Eligible For writing JTO exam if and only if your B.tech Branch must fall under specific branch like Entc, Electrical, and Civil.

Yes you are eligible for the exam.Its good that you are appearing for it.You can even prepare and write for the exam when you are in final year.
