Science stream with PCM, that is, Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects. You can opt Biology or Computer Science as the forth subject. Choosing Computer Science is the best option. English is a compulsory subject. Make sure that you score 55% aggregate in PCM and 50% alone in Mathematics in your 10+2 boards, to be eligible for the same. |

HSC studies must be completed with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as subjects. After that, you must get an admission to B.Tech/B.E in IT/CSE/Software Engineering. Admission to this course is made through entrance tests like IIT JEE. State level entrance exams like MHT CET and WB JEE is conducted for the purpose. |

Re: How to become a software engineer after studying 10th in CBSE? To become a software engineer you should choose the science faculty for std 11th and 12th . Along with 12th you also will have to appear for the various entrance exams meant for engineering . You Have get through the the entrance exam with flying colours then and then only you will be able to get admission in the stream of your choice . |
