Re: What is the qualification required for NDA entrance examination? Dear friend for apply NDA exam the minimum Education qualification is 10+2 pass from a recognized Board. NDA stands for National Defence Academy. NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice time in a year for three wings. - Army wings - Navy wings - Air force Wings Eligibility criteria for NDA Examination :- Candidate should be an Indian citizen. Candidate must have completed 10+2 exam of a recognized School or Board and studying in the final year of 12th examination may also eligible to apply for Army wings. For Navy / Air force wings:- Candidate must have completed 10+2 with PCM subjects from a recognized board. There is no minimum marks required for NDA Examination . Age limit:- Age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years. There is No age relaxation for reserved categories in this exam. Only unmarried Male candidate are eligible to apply this exam. Selection Procedure:- - Written Examination - Medical Test - Personnel Interview All the best....... |

Hi friend… The acronym for NDA is National Defence Academy NDA has three wings Indian army Navy Indian air force The eligibility criteria required for this examination are prescribed as below: 1.Completion of 12th with pass marks 2. Age limit: 16.5-19 years 3.Sex: Male 4. Marital status: Single 5.Nationality: Indian 6.Physically and mentally fit The total exam is of 900 marks in two papers,Math for 300 marks in 2.5 hrs & general ability test which is further divided in two parts,part A English of 200 marks & part B general knowledge of 400 marks. Out of 900 marks,50% marks may be considered as the qualifying marks which vary every time. The cut off must be from both papers individually. Apart from the above,one must be physically fit & should not have colur blindness. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. Girls are not eligible for this exam. This exam conduct by UPSC. NDA has three wings: Indian Army Indian Navy Indian Air Force Eligibility Criteria for NDA exam: Nationality: Candidates must be Citizen of India. Educational qualification: Candidates must be complete 12th standard or Equivalent examination from a recognized university. To appear in Air Force/Navy Academy then you should complete 12th standard science stream (Physics and Mathematics). There is no minimum percentage of marks require for this exam Final year appearing students may also eligible for this exam. Age limit: Candidates should be between 16.5 years to 19 years. There is no age relaxation for this NDA exam.  Gender: Male: Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible for this exam. Female: Female candidates are not eligible for this exam. Physical Requirements for NDA: Army wings :- Acceptable height is 157.5 cms . Navy wings :- Acceptable height is 157 cms . Air force :- Acceptable height is 162.5 cms . Check out the chart list wise height / weight requirements :- Chest should be well developed. Fully expanded chest should not be less than 81 cms. The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cms. Selection procedure: Written examination Medical test Interview. |

Applicant must be Indian citizen. Applicant's date of birth should fall between 02 July 1995 and 01 January 1998 both dates are included. For date of birth proof, UPSC will consider matriculation certificate only. No other documents are considered by the commission. Applicant should submit the academic certificates after being shortlisted for SSB interviews. Educational qualifications required In order to apply for Army wing of National Defence Academy, applicant must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam in any stream. For Air Force Academy and Navy wings of NDA, candidate should have Mathematics and Physics subjects in his 10+2 exam. Candidates who are studying in second year of 10+2 exam are also eligible to apply for NDA & NA exam (II). For Naval Academy also applicant must have studied Physics and Maths at 10+2 level. You should be a 12th pass student in any stream for the army wing And for the air force wing, you need to be having physics and mathematics as your main subjects in 12th. |

Qualification required for NDA entrances are.. : for ARMY.. candidate must have passed or appeared for 10+2 examination.. with any stream for navy and airforce s/he must have passed or appeared for 10+2 exams with physics and mathematics as their subjects.. other additional requirements to appear for exam are.. age limit for the candidate is: more than 16.5 years but less than 19 years.. all the best friend.. i would also like to inform you that if you are not able to make it through interview then dont be bogged down.. keep trying.. and if not N.D.A you can again try for C.D.S exam on your graduation degree..

Every year NDA Exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year. One can join the following defence wings by cracking this exam -Army wing -Navy wing -Air Force wing The complete selection procedure to be placed in above defence wings is by -Written Exam -Interview -Medical test Here is the required eligibility criteria to take this exam. One should have completed 12th Class with any of the stream from a recognized institute to be eligible to apply for Army wing. In order to apply for Navy and Air Force wings, you should have gone through Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects in 12th class. One should possess an age between 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for this exam. Only unmarried male candidates are allowed to take this exam.
