The NDA Exam is conducted for recruitment of candidates into three different wings of National Defense Academy and the eligibility criteria varies accordingly:

Army Wing of National Defense Academy:

• Academic Qualification: Must have qualified +2 level of examination.
• Subject Combination: Any
• Age: 16.5 - 19 years

Air Force Wing and Naval Wing[LIST]

• Academic Qualification: Must have qualified +2 level of examination.
• Subject Combination: Physics and Mathematics

The NDA Exam is conducted twice a year and in order to keep yourself updated regarding the examination, refer to the official website of Union Public Service Commission.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy. Every year NDA Exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

One can join the following defence wings by cracking this exam
-Army wing
-Navy wing
-Air Force wing

The complete selection procedure to be placed in above defence wings is by
-Written Exam
-Interview
-Medical test

Here is the required eligibility criteria to take this exam.

One should have completed 12th Class with any of the stream from a recognized institute to be eligible to apply for Army wing.

In order to apply for Navy and Air Force wings, you should have gone through Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects in 12th class.

One should possess an age between 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for this exam.

Only unmarried male candidates are allowed to take this exam.

--Indian millitary academy
--Indian airforce academy

TO Get selected in this you are required to crack the written exam in case you are eligible and satisfy the below mentioned criteria......


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

-The Age should be B/W 16.5 to 19 years

-candidates should have passed or appearing XII class from a recognized board or university

-candidates having PCM can also apply in all the three branches mentioned above.

-candidates not having PCM can only apply for Indian Millitary Academy and not for navy or airforce.....

-only unmarried male candidates can apply.....

all the best friend.. i would also like to inform you that if you are not able to make it through interview then dont be bogged down.. keep trying.. and if not N.D.A you can again try for C.D.S exam on your graduation degree..

Qualifications for NDA are-

You should be of 16.5 years to 19 years of age.
You should be a 12th pass student in any stream for the army wing
And for the air force wing, you need to be having physics and mathematics as your main subjects in 12th.

Qualifications Required For NDA Exam

The UPSC conducts the NDA Exam every year in the months of April and August for recruitment to the following wings :-

>> Indian Army
>> Indian Navy
>> Indian Air Force

A candidate is eligible for appearing for the Exam if :-

>> the candidate is an unmarried male..

>> the candidate is within the age limit of 16.5-19 years..

>> the candidate has completed 12th from a recognized board (MAths and Physics compulsory for Air Force and Navy)

A candidate needs to clear the following rounds in order to get selected :-

Eligibility criteria to apply for NDA exam II 2013
Applicant should fulfill the following eligibility criteria in order to apply for NDA & NA exam (II).

Applicant must be Indian citizen.
Applicant's date of birth should fall between 02 July 1995 and 01 January 1998 both dates are included.
For date of birth proof, UPSC will consider matriculation certificate only. No other documents are considered by the commission.
Applicant should submit the academic certificates after being shortlisted for SSB interviews.
Educational qualifications required

In order to apply for Army wing of National Defence Academy, applicant must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam in any stream.
For Air Force Academy and Navy wings of NDA, candidate should have Mathematics and Physics subjects in his 10+2 exam.

Candidates must be Citizen of India.

Educational qualification:

Candidates must be complete 12th standard or Equivalent examination from a recognized university.

To appear in Air Force/Navy Academy then you should complete 12th standard science stream (Physics and Mathematics).

There is no minimum percentage of marks require for this exam

Final year appearing students may also eligible for this exam.

Age limit:

Candidates should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

There is no age relaxation for this NDA exam.



Gender:

Male: Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible for this exam.

Female: Female candidates are not eligible for this exam.

Physical Requirements for NDA:

Army wings :- Acceptable height is 157.5 cms .
