Re: eligibility for group 1 hi.... yes you can apply for group 1 exam. the minimum eligibility is to get graduation from any recognized institute from parliment or india.. As you did your graduation in chennai it self you are eligibile for group 1............ thank you................ |

i think your eligible for the tnpsc group 1 exam.age limits is 21 - 30 years as on 1-7-2010.the examination has three stages.1)preliminary 2) main 3)oral test now notification is released for group 1 exam.i am given below see there. Important dates: Last date for receipt of application: 28-01-2011 with in 5.45 pm. Date of Preliminary Examination: 22-05-2011. Application fee: Rs 75/- for Preliminary Examination and Rs 125/- for Main Written Examination. |

I have gone through the eligibility criteria of the mentioned exam and nowhere found that candidate from Tamilnaidu only can appear for exam.
