i have been studying from my 9 th standard till B.E IN CHENNAI. but i am from andhra pradesh. am i eligible to apply for group 1 exam in tamilnadu?

Yes you can give TNPSC group 1 exam. I have gone through the eligibility criteria of the mentioned exam and nowhere found that candidate from Tamilnaidu only can appear for exam. I am giving you a link where eligibility criteria has been given you can also cross check it.

dear friend.

i think your eligible for the tnpsc group 1 exam.age limits is 21 - 30 years as on

1-7-2010.the examination has three stages.1)preliminary 2) main 3)oral test

now notification is released for group 1 exam.i am given below see there.

Important dates:

Last date for receipt of application: 28-01-2011 with in 5.45 pm.

Date of Preliminary Examination: 22-05-2011.

Application fee: Rs 75/- for Preliminary Examination and Rs 125/- for Main Written Examination.

yes you can apply for group 1 exam. the minimum eligibility is to get graduation from any recognized institute from parliment or india.. As you did your graduation in chennai it self you are eligibile for group 1............
