I have cleared my backlog in 2nd semester If you have minimum 50% marks in your B.Tech.You can apply for GATE even though a student who has cleard all his backlogs before applying to GATE Exam.So you may eligible for GATE if you 50% marks.Through gate many public companies offering jobs to the students like BHEL,BEL,HCL,NTPC..etc.You can also apply for some of the MNC's also.You can also do the M.Tech in IIT's Through this you can also get job.You can also do the civils.You many options infront of you choose among that will turn your life |

So you can easily get very good job. You need to score very good marks in your graduation to get maximum short list. Try to work on your subject knowledge, current affair, communication and presentation skills Try practicing for GD and personal Interview also. There is lot of material available on net, make use of it. all the best |
