The marks to secure at graduation level have not been mentioned therefore you need not worry about that. The two exams for the post of PO that you can apply for are:- SBI PO Exam and IBPS PO Exam. For the IBPS PO Exam you need degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Computer knowledge is not mandatory. Age Limit:- 20-30 years. The selection will be based on the Common Written Examination that is going to be conducted. Mainly objective questions will be asked. 200 marks have been allotted for this exam and the whole paper needs to be completed within two hours. If you get selected then you will have to attend an interview session conducted by Participating Organizations and coordinated by IBPS. Total marks allotted for the interview session is 100. An 80:20 ratio weightage is given to the written exam and interview session. Depending on the available vacancies you will be called by any one of the participating bank along with your IBPS Score Card. For the SBI PO Exam too a graduate degree is mandatory. You can get the degree from any stream you want but it should be attained from a recognized university. In this case computer knowledge is required. Age Criteria:- 21-30 years The selection procedure is based on a written exam which is followed by a GD and PI round. The written exam can be further classified into an objective test and descriptive test. It is important to pass in the objective test and only then the descriptive paper will be corrected. So you are eligible to apply for this exam. Eligibility Criteria for Bank PO: 1.Nationality : You must be an Indian citizen. 2.Educational qualification : The candidate must complete graduation with god marks.[above 60% in very good] 3.Age limitation : The age of the candidate must be within 21 to 30 years. SC/ST will get 5 years age relaxation and OBC will get 3 year age relaxation. 4.Backlog criteria : you should not have no active backlogs. Yes you can apply for Bank PO exam with 46% marks in Graduation because there is no percentage limit mentioned in the notification for Bank Po exams. So apply for the exams and start preparing for it thoroughly without any worry. Apply For Bank PO Exams Had you applied a few years back, then your percentage might have been a big hurdle that would have hindered your progress..but right now its totally fine.. There are 2 major PO Examinations which candidates participate in huge numbers :- IBPS, and SBI The minimum requirements for the State Bank of India PO Examination are :- 1) You should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 30 years of age.. 2) You must have a graduation degree in any stream or discipline from a recognized University.. Minimum requirements for IBPS PO Exam :- 1) You should be more than 20 years of age.. 2) Should be less than 28 years.. 3) Should have graduation degree from recognized college.. 4) Percentage restriction is not there.. The IBPS Exam is conducted for 20 nationalized banks.. There is 3 years of upper age relaxation for the OBC candidates, 5 years for the SC/ST and 10 years for physically handicapped candidates in SBI PO and IBPS PO Examinations.. Yes friend with out any doubt you can apply for the IBPS PO exam as the qualification is just to have a degree or any equivalent but they did not specified the percentage requirement in the fresh notification because to give chance and encourage all those who have less than 60% also. So, try to utilize this opportunity ans also check whether you have required age criteria as per your category and then apply. Presently we have the fresh notification of the IBPS clerical .So, apply for that also but for that clerical the candidate must be a computer literate .So, go through full notification and for all the exams. Yeah you are eligible for Bank PO(Probationary Officer) exam. IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) exam is the best way for banking exams. IBPS exam details are given below. Bank PO exams are two types IBPS PO SBI PO Eligibility criteria for IBPS PO:- The applicant should have to complete graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. Percentage is not important to appear this exam. Candidate must be an Indian origin. Age criteria for IBPS PO:- The age limits are 21 years to 30years, 3 years relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates, 10 years relaxation for PWD candidates. Selection procedure:- Written exam, Personal interview. Eligibility criteria of SBI:- The applicant must have to complete your graduation in any stream from a recognised university. Percentage is not required to apply this exam. You must be an Indian origin. Age criteria:- The age limits are 21 years to 30 years, 3 years relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates, 10 years relaxation for PWD candidates. This is because recently all the banks as well as the Institute Of Banking personnel Selection [IBPS] has removed the percentage criteria from the required eligibility criteria of Bank PO Exam. Now each n every candidate who holds a Bachelor`s degree in any stream from any recognized college/university can appear for the Bank PO Exam if he/she fulfills the required age criteria. The Complete Eligibility Criteria for Bank PO Exams are : * The candidate must have completed graduation in any stream from any recognized college/university. * Final year candidates cannot apply. * Both Male and Female Candidates are eligible. * The Age Of The candidate : a) Must lie in between 21-30 years if belonging to General Category. b) Must lie in between 21-33 years if belonging to OBC Category. c) Must lie in between 21-35 years if belonging to SC/ST Category. d) Must lie in between 21-40 years if Widow/Divorced. The Bank PO Exam consists of two stages : 1) Written Exam 2) Personal Interview Note : You need to clear both the Stages in order to be appointed as a Probationary Officer in any bank. So, After Qualified in bachelor degree course you're definitely eligible for IBPS PO Entrance Examination and SBI PO Entrance Examination. College students who have completed a three (or) four years bachelor degree course in any discipline from recognized university college and Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Entrance Examination. No Minimum marks required for this Entrance Examination. So, If you have completed graduation with pass marks without any areears then you're eligible for Bank PO Entrance Examination. The Age criteria for this Entrance Examination is differ from bank to bank. -For appearing in SBI PO Entrance Examination then the applicant age should be minimum 21 years to 30 years for general category candidates. -For appearing in IBPS PO Entrance Examination then the applicant age should be minimum 20 years to 30 yeas for general category candidates. -And relaxation will be applicable for both the sc/st and obc candidates. Applicant, who having good computer knowledge having perference after passing in bank Entrance Examination.
