I hav obtained 46% in graduation. Can i apply for bank po exam.

I have scored <50% in my graduation but have scored >65% in my post graduation. So, can I apply for Bank PO/Clerk CWE?

Currently IBPS has advertised for the Position of PO post

IBPS will be conducting the Common written exams which will be held in online mode for 20 Government banks for the PO posts

You can fill the forms from the website www.ibps.in

Forms will be filled from 22nd July 2013
Last date to apply is 17th August 2013

Online examination is expected to be in Held in october 2013

Eligibity to apply is:

Questions will be asked from the below sections in the IBPS PO Exams:

Yes, you can apply for bank P.O. exam being conducted by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) for 19 Public Sector banks.

Bank PO exams for 20 public sector banks are conducted by IBPS.

Eligibility criteria for IBPS bank PO exams ~~

Educational Qualification -

Graduation from a recognised university.

There is no minimum percentage criteria required.

Yes Off course, You're eligible for both the the IBPS PO and SBI PO Entrance Examination.

No issue with you're percentage of marks. Both the examination not required minimum marks.

So, After Qualified in bachelor degree course you're definitely eligible for IBPS PO Entrance Examination and SBI PO Entrance Examination.

College students who have completed a three (or) four years bachelor degree course in any discipline from recognized university college and Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Entrance Examination.

No Minimum marks required for this Entrance Examination. So, If you have completed graduation with pass marks without any areears then you're eligible for Bank PO Entrance Examination.

The Age criteria for this Entrance Examination is differ from bank to bank.

bank po exams are conducted by sbi and ibps

eligibility for sbi bank po :

1. a bachelor degree from a recognised college
2. no % requirement
3.basic computer operating skills
4.age limit is 21-30 years
5.age relaxation of 3 years for obc and 5 for sc/st

and now,

eligibility for ibps po :

1.minimum graduation degree required
2.must obtained atleast 60 % in graduation
3.sc/st are allowed 5% relaxation
4. a ertificate or diploma in computer is required

for you , you can apply for sbi bank po , you are not eligible for ibps po as you have less than 60 % so apply for sbi bank po

Yes , off course you can apply for the Bank PO exam if you have completed graduation with 46% marks.

This is because recently all the banks as well as the Institute Of Banking personnel Selection [IBPS] has removed the percentage criteria from the required eligibility criteria of Bank PO Exam.

Now each n every candidate who holds a Bachelor`s degree in any stream from any recognized college/university can appear for the Bank PO Exam if he/she fulfills the required age criteria.

The Complete Eligibility Criteria for Bank PO Exams are :

* The candidate must have completed graduation in any stream from any recognized college/university.

* Final year candidates cannot apply.

* Both Male and Female Candidates are eligible.

* The Age Of The candidate :

Yes friend with out any doubt you can apply for the IBPS PO exam as the qualification is just to have a degree or any equivalent but they did not specified the percentage requirement in the fresh notification because to give chance and encourage all those who have less than 60% also.
So, try to utilize this opportunity ans also check whether you have required age criteria as per your category and then apply.
Presently we have the fresh notification of the IBPS clerical .So, apply for that also but for that clerical the candidate must be a computer literate .So, go through full notification and for all the exams.

Apply For Bank PO Exams

Had you applied a few years back, then your percentage might have been a big hurdle that would have hindered your progress..but right now its totally fine..

There are 2 major PO Examinations which candidates participate in huge numbers :-

IBPS, and

SBI

The minimum requirements for the State Bank of India PO Examination are :-

1) You should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 30 years of age..

2) You must have a graduation degree in any stream or discipline from a recognized University..

Minimum requirements for IBPS PO Exam :-

1) You should be more than 20 years of age..

2) Should be less than 28 years..

3) Should have graduation degree from recognized college..

4) Percentage restriction is not there..

The IBPS Exam is conducted for 20 nationalized banks..

There is 3 years of upper age relaxation for the OBC candidates, 5 years for the SC/ST and 10 years for physically handicapped candidates in SBI PO and IBPS PO Examinations..

Yes you can apply for Bank PO exam with 46% marks in Graduation because there is no percentage limit mentioned in the notification for Bank Po exams.

So apply for the exams and start preparing for it thoroughly without any worry.

Since you are a graduate therefore you are eligible to give exam for the post of probationary officers.

The marks to secure at graduation level have not been mentioned therefore you need not worry about that. The two exams for the post of PO that you can apply for are:- SBI PO Exam and IBPS PO Exam.

For the IBPS PO Exam you need degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Computer knowledge is not mandatory.

Age Limit:- 20-30 years.

The selection will be based on the Common Written Examination that is going to be conducted. Mainly objective questions will be asked. 200 marks have been allotted for this exam and the whole paper needs to be completed within two hours.

If you get selected then you will have to attend an interview session conducted by Participating Organizations and coordinated by IBPS. Total marks allotted for the interview session is 100. An 80:20 ratio weightage is given to the written exam and interview session.

Depending on the available vacancies you will be called by any one of the participating bank along with your IBPS Score Card.

For the SBI PO Exam too a graduate degree is mandatory. You can get the degree from any stream you want but it should be attained from a recognized university. In this case computer knowledge is required.

The selection procedure is based on a written exam which is followed by a GD and PI round. The written exam can be further classified into an objective test and descriptive test. It is important to pass in the objective test and only then the descriptive paper will be corrected. The final selection will be based on the overall performance of the candidate in both the phases of selection.
