DEAR FRIEND Here are some various specializations in MBA: MBA in Finance MBA in Health (Pharmaceuticals) MBA in Consultancy MBA in Information Technology MBA in Telecommunications MBA in Media MBA in Services MBA in Human Resources MBA in Banking MBA in Operation Research etc.. But among all these specialization, the most common specialization chose by the students are: Finance, Human Resources, IT and banking. Because these four streams are most valued by the companies. The salaries of these branches are good and more or less same depending on the efficiency of the employee. So you should choose that branch which attracts you more and that branch in which you want see yourself working in any organization after completing MBA. all the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

The high salary packages depend on various factors. Its not just about the branch of MBA but a lot also depends on the college from where you have completed Master of Business Administration. For example if you completes the course from Indian Institutes of Management then the chances of high pay salary is significantly higher. Apart from that your performance in the MBA also matters a lot. Therefore do not think that any specific branch will get you good salary jobs. There are other factors as well. However there are some specializations that are recommended in Master of Business Administration. These specializations are:- Finance Marketing Human Resources Banking IT You have a very good chance of getting high salary packages in these specializations especially the top 3 mentioned above. In case you are looking to take admission in IIM, you should know that Indian Institutes of Management only offers 3 courses that are Finance, Marketing and Human Resources. Now to get good salary you obviously have to take admission in good college. For which you should appear for the Common Admission Test. The CAT exam is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management under the rotation policy. But its not just the IIMs that accept CAT score. You will find that there are number of good colleges that actually accept the CAT score for admission. Its a long list which also includes Indian Institutes of Technology and National Institutes of Technology. CAT Eligibility 1. Qualification: A graduation degree in any discipline. 2. Marks: 50 percent or more in graduation. 3. Relaxation: 5 percent for SC and ST. 4. There is no relaxation for OBC. |

Here is the eligibility criteria that is required for the candidate in order to get admission for MBA course. The candidate should have completed Graduation with minimum 50% of marks from a recognized university. Relaxation in percentage of marks upto 5% for the candidates of SC or ST category. There is no upper age limit required for the candidates to join this course. No direct admission will be given for the candidates to join this course. One should have to get through the respective entrance exam in order to get admission for MBA course. Popular Entrance Exams to join MBA course in B-Schools and IIMs are CAT MAT In addition to these exams, there are some state level entrance exams to join MBA course. Some of the popular specializations in MBA course are MBA in Finance MBA in Systems Management MBA in Information Technology MBA in Human Resource Management MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management MBA in Operations Management MBA in Tourism etc. The salary that you are going to get after completion of MBA course will depend upon some of the things like -The college or university or B-School where you have completed your MBA -The kind of company it is like MNC or local company -The level of job designation like entry level or senior level -The subject knowledge and skills that you are having. For example. people consider finance as very good as most investment banks pays well but given the current market condition, finance candidates are finding it difficult to get placed. Just make sure, what ever field you choose, you do it from the good college and also you give your 100%. If you are good in your field then you will get good job. all the best |

Hi MBA has following basics fields - Finance management - Strategy management - Marketing management - Operation management - IT/ITES/Systems - Human Resource management All the fields are required and all offer good salary. MNC has all the department and pay each department heavily. You should look for field of your interest and try to score very high in this. You should target top 20 MBA colleges to do your MBA to get good placement. As far as salary is concerned, it depends on post, company and your college too. Different company pay different package for the same post from different college. Better the college, better would be your package. All the best |
