You will able to fill the Crime Investigation Department Job Application Form through two exams.These exams are :-

Intelligence Bureau conducted by Ministry of Home Affairs.
SSC GCL conducted by Staff Selection Commission.

In Preliminary Exam questions will be asked from :- Analytical Reasoning,Numerical Aptitude,General Awareness and English Grammar.Total number of questions will be 100/200 and total duration of written exam will be 2 hours.

job in CID after graduation

* Candidates should have a graduation from a recognized university.
* The age limit must be within 21 to 27 for general category.
* The age limit must be up to 35 years for SC/ST candidates.
* The age limit must be up to 33 years for OBC candidates.

Procedure:

* Written exam
* Interview
* Medical exam

Attempts:

For General category - 4 attempts.
For SC/ST category - No limit
For OBC category - 7 attempts

The union public service commission is conducted the entrance exams in every year for various posts under civil services exams. For CID Officer posts the required educational qualifications are you must completed the graduation with from recognized university.
Required minimum age limit for these course is 21 years and maximum 27 years and here age relaxation is available as per UPSC govt.

Eligibility for the CBI department post:

Educational Qualification: you should be passed the bachelor degree from any recognized university..

Age limit: age must be between the 21 to 30 years

Nationality: Indian citzien.

Selection Procedure :

The selection procedure is based on the WRITTEN TEST and PHYSICAL EFFECTIVE TEST and INTERVIEW. Apart from first conducted the written test and this test containing the objective test.After qualifying the written test called for physical test and interview.

CID is a different police department comparing to the ones that investigate normal cases of murder and robbery. In fact CID along with ATM are the two special wings of Police department.

Most states and cities have their own Crime Investigation Department that are often referred as Crime Branch. States like Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh etc all have their own Crime Investigation Department.

The job of CID is different from normal police because it has the power to investigate cases that involves multiple districts or even states. Mainly CID is given cases that are very complicated. Crime Investigation Department has plenty of technical experise to crack complicated murder and robbery cases.

In past it even used to investigate terror cases but now these cases are mainly investigated by ATS and NIA.

Eligibility:

To become CID officer you need to appear in UPSC Civil Service Examination.

Nationality:

You must be citizen of India.

Education Criteria:

For officer level post you need to have graduation degree in any stream from a recognised university of India.

Candidate should secure at least 60 percent marks in graduation course.

Those who wish to apply for post of costable in CID need to have minimum qualification of 12th pass from a recognised board

hi,

To join CID you need to appear for Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.
you need to have good physical strength also like any armed force.
your age should be in between 20 to 27 years old.
