Re: What is the eligibility to sit for IRS exam? Hi, IRS means Indian Revenue Services. There is no special exam for IRS. One has to give the civil services exam conducted by UPSC to enter into the IRS department. The eligibility required to give civil services exam is any degree from recognized university. The age criteria required is minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years. There is upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per the government rules. The minimum age limit for OBC Category is 21 years and maximum is 33 years. The minimum age limit for SC/ST Category is 21 years and maximum is 35 years. The minimum age limit for PWD/Ex-service men is 21 years and maximum is 40 years. Exam pattern: Prelims, followed by Mains and then Interview. There is also restriction on the number of attempts for this exam. 4 attempts for general category. 7 attempts for OBC Category. No limit for SC/ST Category. All the best....................... |

The selection procedure to be placed in IRS is by -CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) -Civil Services Main Examination -Interview Here is the required eligibililty criteria for civil services examination. Academic Qualification : -One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university. -Candidates who have appeared for final year exams of Graduation and waiting for the result can also apply to this exam. Age criteria : -One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for this exam. -Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category. -Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST category |

The Engineering services examinations is applicable to appear for the engineering graduates of the respective areas of study in the engineering.there are also other requirements which are available for appearing to the Engineering Services Examination Age Limit- Should have attained the age of 21 years and should not exceed the age of 30 years Educational Qualifications- Only the respective branches of study of engineering graduates are only eligible for appearing for the Engineering services examinations and the branches of study are Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Electronics and Communication Engineering These are the branches of study of the engineering for which the examination is applicable for........ Nationality- should belong to the citizen of India only.. These are the respective qualifications which are necessary for appearing for the Engineering Services examination... Thanks... |
