IRS stands for Indian Revenue Service. The candidates will be placed in this civil services by cracking civil services examination.
The candidates will also be placed in other civil services like -IAS -IPS etc, by crcaking this civil services examination. The selection procedure to be placed in IRS is by -CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) -Civil Services Main Examination -Interview Here is the required eligibililty criteria for civil services examination. Academic Qualification : -One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university. -Candidates who have appeared for final year exams of Graduation and waiting for the result can also apply to this exam. Age criteria : -One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for this exam. -Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category. -Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST category. The Engineering services examinations is applicable to appear for the engineering graduates of the respective areas of study in the engineering.there are also other requirements which are available for appearing to the Engineering Services Examination Age Limit- Should have attained the age of 21 years and should not exceed the age of 30 years Educational Qualifications- Only the respective branches of study of engineering graduates are only eligible for appearing for the Engineering services examinations and the branches of study are Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Electronics and Communication Engineering These are the branches of study of the engineering for which the examination is applicable for........ The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. IRS stands for Indian Revenue Services which is a post and not an exam.
You can join the IRS by appearing/clearing the UPSC Civil Services exam(CSE). CSE is conducted every year to make recruitments to 24 services/posts. Posts are allotted based on the rank secured in the Final Merit List. Some of the posts are IAS,IPS,IFS,IRS,etc. CSE is conducted in 3 stages viz. 1.Prelims/CSAT Exam 2.Mains Exam 3.Interviews Eligibility For CSE : Age Limit : General Category-21-30yrs on 1st August of the year of exam OBC-21-33yrs SC/ST-21-35yrs Educational Qualification : Minimum educational qualification to appear in the CSE is, A Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a UGC/AICTE recognised University.
