NDA stands for National Defence Academy. This exam conducted by the UPSC twice in a year i.e NDA-I and NDA-II. Three wings in NDA:- Indian army, Indian airforce, Indian navy. Eligibility criteria:- Applicant should be complete 12th standard from any recognised board or university. Percentage is not an issue to apply this exam. Applicant must be physically fit. The age limits are 16.5 years to 19 years, no upper age relaxation. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible i.e girls are not eligible. 12th standard exams appearing candidates can also be eligible. Physical Requirements for NDA Army wings :- Acceptable height is 157.5 cms . Navy wings :- Acceptable height is 157 cms . Air force :- Acceptable height is 162.5 cms . Check out the chart list wise height / weight requirements :- Chest should be well developed. Fully expanded chest should not be less than 81 cms. The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cms. Additional Requirements :- Running : 2 to 4 Km. in 15 minutes Skipping Pushups : Minimum 20 each Sit-ups Chin ups : Minimum 08 Rope Climbing : 3 to 4 meters. Hai friend Yes,after completing inter second year you can apply for NDA exam which is conducted by UPSC every year for the army,navy and air force wings.The eligibility criteria to appear for the NDA exam is : **Eligibility Criteria : -->Nationality: You must be a citizen of India. -->Educational Qualification : You must have completed 12th or equivalent from a recognised board/institute. -->Age Limit : Your age limit should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for the reserved category candidates. --.You must be an unmarried male candidate. -->You must be physically and mentally fit. **Selection Procedure : 1.Preliminary exams 2.Mains exam 3.Personal Interview After qualifying in all the rounds of the NDA exam,then you are eligible to join in the defence services.For detailed information about the NDA exam you can visit www.upsc.gov.in and if you can fulfill the above mentioned eligibility criteria then you are eligible for the NDA exam. Every year UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) is going to conduct NDA Exam twice a year in order to recruit the candidates into the following defence services Army wing Navy wing Air Force wing As per your date of birth, you are eligible to appear for NDA II Exam of this academic year. But NDA II Exam was successfully completed on 11th of this month. I don't know whether you have applied for this exam and attempted or not. If you have attempted, that is well and good. If you have not attempted, I suggest you to apply for NDA I Exam of upcoming year. If you have Mathematics and Physics in your 12th class, then you are eligible to apply for both Navy and Air Force wings. Candidates who are not having these subjects in their 12th class are eligible to apply for only Army wing. Girls are not eligible to apply for this exam. Only unmarried female candidates are eligible to apply for this exam. Have good preparation for the Entrance Exam and cracking it. After getting through the NDA Exam, you have to crack Interview also. Before joining in job, the candidates should fit physical requirements also. Wish you all the best. |

HI FRIEND ## UPSC conducts NDA examination to recruit the candidates in ARMY, NAVY and AIRFORCE WINGS of National Defence Academy ## The minimum educational qualification required to apply for ARMY wing is 12th pass & for AIRFORCE,NAVY WINGS is 12th pass with physics,mathematics subjects from recognised institution ## Age limit to apply for NDA examination is 16.5-19 years and the candidates must be physically & medically fit as per NDA regulations ## Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA examination ## So,if you complete 12th standard to the date of issue of notification,then only you are eligible to apply ## For further details please visit www.upsc.gov.in ** ALL THE BEST ** |

As per your date of birth , your age is currently less than 19 years, which is right for NDA exam, so you can appear for this exam. NDA or National Defence Academy exams are conducted by UPSC for joining - Indian Navy, Army or Air Force. The educational qualification required for NFDA exam is Intermediate. It could be with any subjects, for Indian Army, but if you want to join Indian Navy or Indian Air Force, then you should have passed intermediate with Physics and Mathematics. The age required for NDA exam is between 16.5 years to 19 years. And you are in this age bracket, so you can apply for NDA exam. You should also be an unmarried male candidate. Girls are not eligible for NDA exam. The NDA exam is conducted in three stages which include a written test. On qualifying this written test, an SSB interview is conducted and finally a physical fitness test is done, to check your suitability for Indian Defence. Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination. Age criteria: Age limits is 16 1/2 years to 19 years. There is no relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates. Nationality:Citizen of india.
