sir, i have completed my inter 2 year in 2013 my birth date is 27 june 1995 am i eligible to nda exam 2

NDA(National Defence Academy)is conducted two times every year i.e
NDA-I and NDA-II.This exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).
NDA has three wings:
Indian army,
Indian airforce,
Indian navy.

Educational Qualifications :
(i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Age criteria:
Age limits is 16 1/2 years to 19 years.
There is no relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates.

Nationality:Citizen of india.

Important note:
Girls are not eligible for this exam, only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
You must be physically fit.

Selection procedure:
Written test,
SSB interview,
Medical test.

Hi,

As per your date of birth , your age is currently less than 19 years, which is right for NDA exam, so you can appear for this exam.

NDA or National Defence Academy exams are conducted by UPSC for joining - Indian Navy, Army or Air Force.

The educational qualification required for NFDA exam is Intermediate. It could be with any subjects, for Indian Army, but if you want to join Indian Navy or Indian Air Force, then you should have passed intermediate with Physics and Mathematics.


The age required for NDA exam is between 16.5 years to 19 years. And you are in this age bracket, so you can apply for NDA exam.

You should also be an unmarried male candidate. Girls are not eligible for NDA exam.

The NDA exam is conducted in three stages which include a written test. On qualifying this written test, an SSB interview is conducted and finally a physical fitness test is done, to check your suitability for Indian Defence.

So, Now you can make sure that you are eligible for NDA exam and you can apply for NDA II.

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY

NDA stand for the National Defence Academy and NDA entrance examination is conducted twice (Named as NDA-I & NDA-II) in every year by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for selection in the different wing of NDA. Here i give you the details eligibility criteria for NDA entrance examination.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA Examination.
-->Pass 12th class from a recognize board/University. 12th board exam appearing student can also apply for the NDA examination.
-->The age must be between 16 1/2 to 19 years at the time of examination.

NOTE :-- Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for the NDA examination. Female candidates are not eligible to apply for NDA entrance examination.

This is the basic eligibility criteria for NDA entrance examination. If you satisfy the above mention eligibility criteria then you are eligible to apply for the NDA entrance examination. Do prepare well for the upcoming NDA entrance examination because the competition is really hard.

Every year UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) is going to conduct NDA Exam twice a year in order to recruit the candidates into the following defence services
Army wing
Navy wing
Air Force wing

As per your date of birth, you are eligible to appear for NDA II Exam of this academic year.

But NDA II Exam was successfully completed on 11th of this month.

I don't know whether you have applied for this exam and attempted or not.

If you have attempted, that is well and good.

If you have not attempted, I suggest you to apply for NDA I Exam of upcoming year.

If you have Mathematics and Physics in your 12th class, then you are eligible to apply for both Navy and Air Force wings.

Candidates who are not having these subjects in their 12th class are eligible to apply for only Army wing.

Girls are not eligible to apply for this exam.

Only unmarried female candidates are eligible to apply for this exam.

Have good preparation for the Entrance Exam and cracking it.

After getting through the NDA Exam, you have to crack Interview also.

Applicant must be physically fit.

Physical Requirements for NDA

Army wings :- Acceptable height is 157.5 cms .

Navy wings :- Acceptable height is 157 cms .

Air force :- Acceptable height is 162.5 cms .

Chest should be well developed. Fully expanded chest should not be less than 81 cms. The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cms.

Running : 2 to 4 Km. in 15 minutes

Chin ups : Minimum 08
Rope Climbing : 3 to 4 meters.
