Re: Is a B.Tech student eligible to appear for IAS/IPS or IFS exam? For become IAS/IPS/IFS officer to appear CSAT exam conducted by the upsc once in a year. The candidate should be complete any degree from any recognised university. The candidate age should be 21 to 30 years, the age relaxation for obc candidates is 3 years, and the sc/st candidates in 5 years. Re: Is a B.Tech student eligible to appear for IAS/IPS or IFS exam? To become an IAS/IPS/IFS officer, you have to clear the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) conducted by UPSC. For appearing in CSAT, you should have completed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. The age limit for the exam is 21-30 years. The exam notification will be published on 4th February 2012. You can submit the filled application till 5th March 2012. The exam will be held on 20th May 2012. |
