Is a B.Tech student eligible to appear for IAS/IPS or IFS exam?
if any student study in b.tech (in third years) he is eligible to appear ias/ips or ifs examination ?

To become an IAS/IPS/IFS officer, you have to clear the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) conducted by UPSC. For appearing in CSAT, you should have completed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. The age limit for the exam is 21-30 years. The exam notification will be published on 4th February 2012. You can submit the filled application till 5th March 2012. The exam will be held on 20th May 2012.

For become IAS/IPS/IFS officer to appear CSAT exam conducted by the upsc once in a year. The candidate should be complete any degree from any recognised university. The candidate age should be 21 to 30 years, the age relaxation for obc candidates is 3 years, and the sc/st candidates in 5 years.
