HI FRIEND ## The minimum educational qualification required to apply for SI POST in police department is graduation in any discipline from recognised institution/university ## Age limit to apply for Sub Inspector post is ~>20-25 years for General category candidates ~>20-28 years for OBC candidates ~>20-30 years for SC/ST category candidates ## The physical standards required to apply for SI POST are ~>165 cm height for men and 150 cm height for women & 5 cm height relaxation for SC/ST category candidates ~>85 cm chest on expansion for men and there is no such requirement for women ~>Eyesight should be 6/6 or 6/9 in good eye, 6/12 in worst eye for distant vision & 0.6 in good eye, 0.8 in worst eye for near vision ** ALL THE BEST ** |

Re: How to join SI post in Police? joining SI post in police Physical measurement- • Height minimum 70cms. • Chest from 8 to 85 cms. • A candidate whose height is 78 cms or more shall be given bonus marks, to be added in the total marks while determining the merit list. • The candidates should be of sound health, free from defect/deformity/disease Both eyes should have a vision 6/ (without glasses) No relaxation is allowed to any category of candidates on this count. Eligiblity- • Applicant should have nationality if INDIA. • Minimum education qualification is to Bachelor's degree from recognised university. • Age concession to Ex-Servicemen will be allowed in accordance with the orders issued by the government from time to time. • Relaxation in the upper age limit is admissible upto 0 years ( years for OBC, 5 years for SCs/STs) for departmental candidates of Delhi Police. • 5Upto a maximum of 5 years for sportsmen of distinction who have represented a state at the national level and the country at the international level in sports. Dear sir , Criteria for joining SI post in police........................ **Eligiblity- 1.Applicant should have nationality if INDIA. 2.Minimum education qualification is to Bachelor's degree from recognised university. 3.Age concession to Ex-Servicemen will be allowed in accordance with the orders issued by the government from time to time. 4.Relaxation in the upper age limit is admissible upto 40 years (43 years for OBC, 45 years for SCs/STs) for departmental candidates of Delhi Police. 5.Upto a maximum of 5 years for sportsmen of distinction who have represented a state at the national level and the country at the international level in sports. **Physical measurement- 1.Height minimum 170cms 2.Chest from 81 to 85 cms 3.A candidate whose height is 178 cms. or more shall be given 3 bonus marks, to be added in the total marks while determining the merit list. 4.The candidates should be of sound health, free from defect/deformity/disease.
