How To Join the SI post In Police....please tell me how should I join it

Criteria for joining SI post in police........................

**Eligiblity-

1.Applicant should have nationality if INDIA.

2.Minimum education qualification is to Bachelor's degree from recognised university.

3.Age concession to Ex-Servicemen will be allowed in accordance with the orders issued by the government from time to time.

4.Relaxation in the upper age limit is admissible upto 40 years (43 years for OBC, 45 years for SCs/STs) for departmental candidates of Delhi Police.

5.Upto a maximum of 5 years for sportsmen of distinction who have represented a state at the national level and the country at the international level in sports.

**Physical measurement-

1.Height minimum 170cms

2.Chest from 81 to 85 cms

3.A candidate whose height is 178 cms. or more shall be given 3 bonus marks, to be added in the total marks while determining the merit list.

4.The candidates should be of sound health, free from defect/deformity/disease. Both eyes should have a vision 6/12 (without glasses). No relaxation is allowed to any category of candidates on this count.

1.You must completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University
2.Your age must be 20 years to 25 years for General category
3.SC/ST category candidates 5 years relaxation
4.You must be physical fit
5.You should be an Indian citizen.

for sub inspector post in police you need to have a minimum graduation degree from a recognized college

eligibility criteria :

must be a citizen of india

must have completed graduation from a recognized college
no minimum marks requirement
final year students not allowed

AGE LIMIT :

minimum age limit to apply is 20 years
maximum age limit is 25 years
3 year relaxation for obc
5 year relaxation for sc/st students

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
height for male is 167.5 cm , relaxation for reserved
height for female is 155 cm relaxation for reserved

chest for male is 82 cm, 5 cm expansion allowed

## The physical standards required to apply for SI POST are
~>165 cm height for men and 150 cm height for women & 5 cm height relaxation for SC/ST category candidates
~>85 cm chest on expansion for men and there is no such requirement for women
~>Eyesight should be 6/6 or 6/9 in good eye, 6/12 in worst eye for distant vision & 0.6 in good eye, 0.8 in worst eye for near vision
