Eligibility Conditions for UGC-NET :

Your Minimum educational qualification should be Post Graduate degree from recognized university in Library and information science.
If you belong from the General/OBC category then 55% marks in Post-Graduation.
If you belong from the SC/ST Category then 50% marks in Post-Graduation.
If you will apply for JRF(Junior Research Fellowship) then your age should not be above 28 years.

Exam Pattern :-

Paper I will include questions from General Ability.
Paper II will include questions from your subjects and it will be optional.
Paper III will include questions from your stream and it will be subjective.

Number of Questions :-

Paper I will include 60 and you will have to solve only 50.
Paper II will include 50 and all questions are compulsory and optional.
Paper III will include 75 questions and all questions will be compulsory.

Time Duration :-

Paper I will be of 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Paper II will be of 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Paper III will be of 2 hour and 30 minutes.
