Hello dear, If you want to join Indian army then NDA is the best platform for you after 12th and CDS is the best for after completing graduation. Both Exam NDA and CDS conducted by UPSC twice in a year. NDA stand for National Defence Academy CDS stands for Combined defense services. Eligibility Criteria For NDA age must be in between 16.5-19 years. candidate must be passed/appeared in 12th with a govt. recognized university Eligibility Criteria For CDS is candidate should be completed graduation with subject MATHS and PHYSICS, candidate who are appearing final year exam are also eligiblec Age Limit Indian Military Academic 19 to 24 For Officer Training Academy 19 to 25 For Naval 19 to 22 Indian air force 19 to 23 |

Re: Age limit and qualification to join Indian Military? If you want to join Indian military then you have to give CDS exam. The "Combined Defense Services" Examination is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission. Following is the eligibility criteria of CDS exam: Your age must be between 19 to 24 years. Only unmarried graduates are eligible to sit for the exam. Final year candidates can also apply for the CDS exam. There is no restriction of percentage in graduation to apply for CDS exam. You must be an Indian.
