What is the age limit and qualification required to join Indian military?

If you want to join Indian military then you have to give CDS exam. The "Combined Defense Services" Examination is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission.

Following is the eligibility criteria of CDS exam:

Your age must be between 19 to 24 years.
Only unmarried graduates are eligible to sit for the exam.
Final year candidates can also apply for the CDS exam. There is no restriction of percentage in graduation to apply for CDS exam.
You must be an Indian.
You should be mentally and physically fit in all respect.

Hello dear,

If you want to join Indian army then NDA is the best platform for you after 12th and CDS is the best for after completing graduation.
Both Exam NDA and CDS conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

NDA stand for National Defence Academy
CDS stands for Combined defense services.

age must be in between 16.5-19 years.
candidate must be passed/appeared in 12th with a govt. recognized university
