Re: Is MSc Physics UGC approved in karnataka open university Yes, Karnataka Open University is recognized by University Grant Commission (UGC) and Distance Education Council , Delhi.But it offers a no: of bachelors programme & a limited masters programme so M.Sc. Physics is not available in their programme list. However they offer MSc. in IT, Geography, Mathematics, and CSE of 2 years Duration. But if you wishes to offer the Msc.Physics then you can go for another universities that are offering the course from the distance mode too.The list is as under- Acharya Nagarjuna University-Andhra Pradesh Alagappa University- Tamil Nadu Madurai Kamraj University- Tamil Nadu NIMS University- Rajasthan St. Peters University- Chennai Vinayaka Missions University-Tamil Nadu |

But they don't have M.Sc. Physics as you are Saying. They only offer MSc. in IT, Geography, Mathematics, and CSE of 2 years Duration.
