Hi dear, to do M.Tech from IISC or IIST, you have to get good score in GATE. see Minimum GATE score required for General candidates to get M.Tech Admission in IISC or IIST Colleges is fully varied year to year. but as a general if you can get rank with in 1000, then you can get chance in IISC or IIST easily. that means you have to get 99% in the gate exam. But the Graduation percentage is 54:(:( I m very much interstd to get into iit iiscs.but t percentage after writing backlogs is 63.3%. Acc to certificate its 54! Is 60% mandatory?? I m interstrd in Vlsi,chip design,embedded systems, as well signals n digital systems! Please reply:( its urgent. N to which all institutes can I apply |

If you have scored above 99 percentile in GATE then there are chances that you may get seat in IISC. or if you are scoring rank within 500 then you may get admission in IISC or IIST. Re: Eligibility criteria required for doing M.Tech in IISC or IIST? for IIsc; Candidates should have done BE/B.Tech in the corresponding/related discipline or should have done OR Bachelor’s degree in Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Electronics/ followed by qualifications obtained through an examination conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (AMIE) OR Master’s Degree in Physics with Electronics/Instrumentation For M.Des candidates should have done B.Tech/BE/B.Des/B.Arch/BSc + AMIE in a corresponding discipline. |
