Can you please explain me about the eligibility criteria needed for doing M.Tech in IISC or IIST?

to do m.tech from iisc Bangalore ,you have to be an graduate and clear gate exam,
then you have to also clear the interview and in some cases even written exam of iisc Bangalore,

to do m.tech from any college in the country you have to write the gate exam,
then there may be an interview or not depending on the course and the institute,

for IIsc;
Candidates should have done BE/B.Tech in the corresponding/related discipline or should have done OR

Bachelor’s degree in Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Electronics/ followed by qualifications obtained through an examination conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (AMIE) OR

Master’s Degree in Physics with Electronics/Instrumentation

For M.Des candidates should have done B.Tech/BE/B.Des/B.Arch/BSc + AMIE in a corresponding discipline.

but as a general if you can get rank with in 1000, then you can get chance in IISC or IIST easily.

how much % should i need in GATE for doing M.Tech in IIST??

please tell me which are the associated stream students can get admission in I.I.S.T after graduation.?
I am doing B.E.-metallurgy from M.S.Uni. Of Vadodara.

If you want to do M.Tech from IISC or IIST then you have to get good score in GATE Examination.

If you have scored above 99 percentile in GATE then there are chances that you may get seat in IISC.

or if you are scoring rank within 500 then you may get admission in IISC or IIST.

I have got gate AIR 678. I pursued my b.e at vtu in t field of E&c. But the Graduation percentage is 54:(:( I m very much interstd to get into iit iiscs.but t percentage after writing backlogs is 63.3%. Acc to certificate its 54! Is 60% mandatory?? I m interstrd in Vlsi,chip design,embedded systems, as well signals n digital systems! Please reply:( its urgent. N to which all institutes
