You should have mentioned your category. If you belong to general category then you have very very slim chance ( almost no chance) as your rank is high for general category If you belong to any other category then you have high chance. With 420 rank, you wont get the top IIT, however, lower IITs and top NIT are within your reach. Again for getting job in IOCL your Rank should be under 100 for general category all the best |

Re: Can I get MTECH admission IIT with a gate score of 663? this year you were eligible to take admission. but now it is not possible. because the counseling is finished many days ago. for this year cut off was 500 gate score. but do not worry you have not taken admission. try for next year surely you will get chance to take admission again as the validity of GATE score is now two years. yea this marks is very good to take job in IOCL. you may try for it. it will be also very good for you. all the best. |

The other thing is of IOCL, then my friend they do consider this GATE score only in their interview, but before this you have to pass from a pre placement test. Each company conduct their tests before interview. Good GATE score would be beneficial for candidate in selection.\ |

However, you can get a chance to get admission through written test or interview. Good IITs refer old IITs. For post graduation new IITs are useless because there is lack of good infrastructure, laboratories and also professors and classes. So, as far as master degree is concerned you should go for old IITs or IISc. Also, if you have job in IOCL and not getting a good college then go for the job in IOCL. So, dont worry you will get a seat in IIT. Because your marks in osem, But i think you have face interview, after Interview you will get admission in IIT. But you got 663 marks, then you will get admission in IIT, So you dont worry....... Good luck. |

If someone is scoring 640+ in and also having at least 95% in GATE then he/she is are eligible for Direct admission in IIT's. I can guess if you have applied for respective IIT's checkout if they have listed you in Interview, however they should'nt do because you have scored above the cutoffs and are eligible for direct admission. Dont worry you will surely get IIT's. Even if you will get new IIT's dont hesitate in opting for same. Best of Luck
