No, Diploma is not equal to degree.
To complete a degree course it takes 15 years of education (10+2+3)
But for diploma it is (10+3), so needs a degree course to join Post graduation courses.

A person can do a PGDM from an institute if he/she has done a proper 3 year diploma from a recognized university or education body and has +3 years of work experience on paper

A person can do PGDM from an institute if he/she has completed a proper 3 years diploma from a recognized university and has 3 years of experience, if u have any concern u can contact me on "rohit.g@einsedu.in"

No dear you cant opt for MBA.

As you also know that for MBA minimum requirement is for graduation degree. Aggregate matter is different first you should look for degree.

Diploma Engineering is a 3 years polytechnic course, which is not considered equivalent to Bachelor degree and the candidate passing it will also not be called a Graduate, because he/she haven't acquired degree yet.

Here I would also like to clear one common doubt, some Diploma courses are of 4 years also like- Diploma Engineering in Industrial Electronics, Partime Diploma courses, Evening Diploma courses. So even being a 4 years long course it can not be considered as equivalent to Graduation.

So, if you want to pursue MBA first you have to complete your Graduation.

And for a diploma holder pursuing graduation is not a difficult task, lots of facilities are available there like- Lateral entry schemes, One Sit Graduation, completing graduation through distance mode etc.

Yes you can do MBA after 10 2 3 (diploma holders) with 5 years of industry experience from Karnataka State Open University.. It is approved by UGC and DEC. Which is globally accepted.

No, diploma is not a certified degree course yet. But there was some speculations that Diploma would get a degree certificateand will become as equivalent to B.E but was ruled out by the government.
And No you cannot do MBA after diploma as you need to complete B.E for that.

As you also know that for MBA minimum requirement is for graduation degree. Aggregate matter is different first you should look for degree.

the option are available after diploma:-
1.b.tech
2.b.c.a
3.b.b.a

no you can't do MBA after diploma.diploma is not a graduation,only the graduate are eligible for the MBA.

diploma is not equal to degree.degree is graduation and diploma is pre-graduation.there is one more step after diploma to become a graduate.

no diploma students can't take IAS exam because they are not graduate.the eligibily for IAS exam is the graduation.graduation is much more important to take the IAS exam.

you can get the admission into b.tech course through lateral entry system(direct admission into 2nd year of the b.tech course). you have to get the rank in ECET(FDH) means Engineering common entrance test (for diploma holders). this examination is easy. we have to revise the diploma syllabus as specified in the booklet and practise old question papers everyday and prepare charts for the formulae for easy to remember.

Dear friend
no. diploma is not equal to degree .but it gives you a specialisation in a particular field.
For doing MBA you need to complete your bachelor degree which is the minimum qualification for doing the course. you can do MBA by writing the entrance exam like CAT,etc

My name is Manmeet Singh and i completed my 3 years diploma in CSE from BBSB college FGS . But i completed that after 10 2 . So Please suggest if i am eligible for MBA or not ? Because for MBA requirement is 10 2 3, that i am having that with me. Please suggest me universities offering that . I completed my Diploma in 2010 since then i am working with MNC TBSS and having experience of one year. Please Help as MBA is really required to get growth.
