Re: Age limit to appear for GATE entrance exam? GATE is the entrance exam to get into the ME/MTech degree programmes. to apply for the exam you need to have completed your BE/BTech degree. for writing GATE exam there is no age limit |

Hello, Age limit to appear for the GATE(Gratitude Aptitude Test of Engineering) exam * There is no limit for age in gate exam * Candidates should be graduate in B.E or B.Tech Engineering * Final year candidates can also attend the exam * There is no no limits for attempts too. * Valid of gate score is for two years. Re: Age limit to appear for GATE entrance exam? dear friends, I have the following information about the exam gate which are as follows, eligibility for GATE Examination The following categories of candidates are eligible to appear for GATE: * Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes. * Master's degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes. * Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master's degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology or in the third or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master's degree programme and Dual Degree programme in Engineering/Technology. * Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by IE(I), AMICE(I) by the Institute of Civil Engineers (India)-ICE(I)) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Re: Age limit to appear for GATE entrance exam? in GATE examination there are no age limitation. one candidate any time can appear in GATE examination irrespective of his age. but if you want to take admission in master degree with your GATE score then there are some university which give eligibility criterion that student should have age below 30 years to take admission. so you will not be eligible to take admission in this case. but if you want to do something other than the admission in master degree then obviously you may appear in GATE examination any time. in some university also you may take admission in master degree irrespective of your age. so you should appear any time if you are really interested. best wishes. |

The score of yours will be valid for 2 years. It will be better if you are able to get good score within 2 attempts. There are some criteria for to apply exam,that are mentioned below -should be complete graduation degree or in per-suing degree -should be an Indian citizenship holder |

Re: Age limit to appear for GATE entrance exam? hello dear see, GATE exam is a all India basis test conduct by the IITs. the GATE eligibilty is given below 1.minimum graduation in engineering. final year & prefinal year btech students are allowed to attain in the gate exam. 2.after msc doing msc. students are also eligibile to attain in the gate exam. there have not any age limit to attain in the gate exam. so you can appear any time in the gate exam. all the best............ |
