Re: Can private candidates of 12th class apply for Indian Air Force? Sir I had passed class 12th in 2015 with 76% .. then I had filled improvement in all subjects and got 83% in 2016.. I had got marksheet of private candidate ... Another question is that ..i had not got another passing certificate ..I have only passing certificate of 2015... Can I eligible for Indian Air Force with private candidate marksheet (2016)..and passing certificate (2015)..??? |

Re: Can private candidates of 12th class apply for Indian Air Force? It is indeed a good decision to serve the nation by joining the Indian Air Force. Your age should be between 16 ½ to 19 years during the starting of the course. You need to complete your 10 + 2 with Physics and Mathematics. Incase you are appearing for the final exams, then also you can apply for NDA. |

physics and maths at 10+2 for the Indian Air force and navy. Those appeared in the 10+2 examination are also eligible to apply for this examination. GOOD LUCK... |

Any male students who have completed +2 from any recognized board in India can apply for the exam. You should also have scored more than 60% for the qualifying examination. Those students who have studies maths and physics for 12th can join the Navy or the Air force. The others can only apply for the Army. |

It happens twice a year NDA-I and NDA-II. AGE LIMIT- 16 1/2 to 19 years, but your university of 12th must be a legal. then you don't worry you surely apply for the air force. Well, being a private candidate you can too apply for NDA exam after 12th class as the eligibility criteria for the same is only 12th passed from a recognized board.However there is no distinction between a regular candidate & a private one but the candidate must be from the science stream with good percentage. |

You should be born between 2nd Jan & 1st Jul for NDA 1 and 2nd Jul & 1st Jan for NDA 2. You should have passed 12th Class (10+2) system of education or its equivalent for Army and with Physics and Maths for the airforce and navy. You should be an unmarried male. |
