I will pass 12th (PCM) in march from Haryana Open School (HBSE)
Can I apply for Indian Air force . My confusion is that I am a private candidate of 12th class and do not read in any school. So I want to know.

You can absolutely go ahead and apply for Indian Air Force. Anyone who has done his 10+2 with Physics and Maths is eligible to apply. Moreover, you must be an Indian National and must fall in the age group of 16.5 years to 19 years.

Yes private students can apply for NDA examinations after 12 but it should be from a UGC certified board.

U can apply for NDA examination. It happens twice a year NDA-I and NDA-II,
NDA-I exams are held in april every year and NDA II exams are held in august,
Keep reading employement news paper for advertisement of the examination.
AGE LIMIT- 16 1/2 to 19 years, if u fall in between then only u r eligible.

yes, you can apply provided you score minimum marks required for to apply for the same.... and you are with in the age bar.all the best for your exams..

Yes you can apply for NDA even if you were an open school student.

Your age should be between 16.5 - 19 yrs.

You should be born between 2nd Jan & 1st Jul for NDA 1 and
2nd Jul & 1st Jan for NDA 2.

You should have passed 12th Class (10+2) system of education or its equivalent for Army and with Physics and Maths for the airforce and navy.

You should be an unmarried male.

Yes you are eligible to apply for the National defence academy examination.
The National Defence academy examination is conducted by the UPSC
twice in a year. To apply for this examination you need the following
eligibility criteria.

Education Qualification
For the NDA examination candidate should be 10+2 pass and should have
physics and maths at 10+2 for the Indian Air force and navy.
Those appeared in the 10+2 examination are also eligible to apply for this
examination.

Age Limit
For the NDA examination candidate age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

Well, being a private candidate you can too apply for NDA exam after 12th class as the eligibility criteria for the same is only 12th passed from a recognized board.However there is no distinction between a regular candidate & a private one but the candidate must be from the science stream with good percentage.

After passing 12th you would be allowed to apply for Indian Air Force.There is no restriction imposed by Central Govt. on students of Open School for appearing in exams conducted by the same.So,being a private candidate won't be a hurdle for you.

Yes, you can apply for the NDA exam. Any male students who have completed +2 from any recognized board in India can apply for the exam. You should also have scored more than 60% for the qualifying examination. Those students who have studies maths and physics for 12th can join the Navy or the Air force. The others can only apply for the Army.

It is indeed a good decision to serve the nation by joining the Indian Air Force. Your age should be between 16 ½ to 19 years during the starting of the course. You need to complete your 10 + 2 with Physics and Mathematics. Incase you are appearing for the final exams, then also you can apply for NDA.

Sir I had passed class 12th in 2015 with 76% .. then I had filled improvement in all subjects and got 83% in 2016..
I had got marksheet of private candidate ...
Another question is that ..i had not got another passing certificate ..I have only passing certificate of 2015...
