Re: How much rank is required to get a seat in VIT? It is tough to get into a decent branch at a considerable price in VIT. Getting into VIT is not at all tough.The university doesn't disclose the marks, instead if you obtain a rank below 20–22k in the VITEEE, you can most assuredly get a seat. |

No, you cannot take admission in VIT University now as the admission process was over by mid june itself and the classes have already begun from 5th July. However the BITS admission procedure is on so if you have obtained a good score(270+) you can get a seat in BITS Goa or Hyderabad in one of the MSc. courses atleast. |

There are no seats in VIT university through AIEEE.Most private universities such as VIT,SRM,Manipal have their own entrance exam on the basis of which admission procedure is carried out. If you are keen on joining VIT, you should consider joining through the management quota(donation). Good luck

Re: How much rank is required to get a seat in VIT? Admission in the management quota will depend on the number of seats remaining and the rank you have obtained in the VITEEE 2012 exam. If you have a good rank, say under 30000, you stand a better chance of getting a seat than a person who has say 30000-40000 rank or above. You will have to contact the university directly in this regard..probably after the first phase of counselling ends on 19th may 2012. |
