Re: How to join IAF while studying 12th? I have passed intermediate 72.6% with science group now i am studies in Bsc.3 year . My subject is maths and chemistry . Can I join Indian Air Force? Please tell me the details. |

You can join IAF(Indian Air Force) after completion of 12th through NDA(National Defence Academy), the exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate aspiring for Indian Air Force wing of NDA, must be an unmarried Indian male candidate only having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subject of studies from a recognised Board within he age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Physique. You can only apply NDA through on line by submitting requisite fees for the exam. The selection is through written exam, personal interview, Physical Fitness test and finally through Medical Test. Coming straight to the point.For joining into the Indian Air Force(IAF) wing. While studying you cannot join the IAF wing.But since you are in the 12th you have a chance of applying for the IAF wing. You cannot join IAF while studying 12th because according to the Indian Defense rules a person should pass 10+2 or equivalent courses to get into the IAF or NDA or Army or Naval wings. So apply for the IAF wing exams.If you have qualified the exam there will be an SSB interview for further process of recruitment in IAF. So that SSB interview will be of many types like mental ability,physical,and many more factors. I have answered few points regarding this IAF query so i thought this below link could help you more.
