So one should prepare with proper planning to crack the bank exams. There is no such section called Mathematics in bank PO exams. But there is quantitative aptitude. The bank PO jobs selection procedure will be by -Written test -Interview. The written exam may consists of questions from the following categories. -Reasoning -Quantitative aptitude -General awareness -General English -Computer / Marketing knowledge. One should qualify in all the areas to go through the written test. There is negative marking for the wrong answers. To be good enough in quantitative aptitude, what is needed is good practice. Practice gives you the accuracy in less time while solving the problems. R.S.Agarwal is the good book for quantitative aptitude for all the bank exams. |

Re: From which books to prepare Mathematics for Bank PO exam ? in Bank PO examination generally mathematical aptitude questions come. for this you should not require a very good mathematical knowledge. you should only require basic mathematics knowledge and you have to solve mathematical problem within a very limited time. to practice numerical mathematics aptitude question you should go for the book Reasoning by R S Agarwal. this is a very good book for bank PO examination and also for preparation of aptitude for other examination. you should also collect the previous few years bank PO examination paper and solve them attentive. then your mathematics will be developed for bank PO examination. best of luck. |

Hi, Well for preparing really well for mathematics, i would suggest 1.Arun sharma's book :: quantitative aptitude for cat,TMH publication solve upto level 2 only it is more than enough, try few l3 if you like 2.R.S. AGGARWALA"S book:: quantitative aptitude for compititive exams In addition take as many mocks you can you can buy mocks from CL/TIME/IMS.. testfunda.com etc. attain accuracy and speed. thanks |

You are strictly saying only for mathematics then you only solve:- 1-R.S.Agarwal(Quantitative Aptitude) 2-Quicker Maths BY M.Tyra (must) beside this Arun Sharma is also a very good book but the level of this book is little high as compare to these books and most of the questions are from R.S.Agarwal. you must try to solve Quicker book because it will shows your some trick by which you can save your time..!! |
