Re: Which Subjects to take to Become a Commerce Lecturer through NET exam? I have qualified NET in Commerce but I am not comfortable with all the subjects of Commerce. Do I have to teach all the subjects of commerce to become an assistant professor or I can choose among the subjects? |

Re: Which Subjects to take to Become a Commerce Lecturer through NET exam? i am pursuing mba(finance) and i want to give net exam in june 2013 . but i have a doubt regarding this exam that which subject i need to choose for exam management or commerce . although i am interested in commerce. one thing more for paper i and 2 we need to select subjects or the books are same .. for example in commerce i want to teach accounts so do i need to buy book for accounts or its common for all subjects. i am so confused please help me ... |

Friend If you are aspiring to become a lecturer in Commerce dept. then you will have to choose COMMERCE paper for UGC-NET examination. Apart from that you can also choose Economics paper which also incorporates some subject of Commerce. But, it will depend on your current knowledge and interest. Because you will be teaching after that and you should be good in whatever you are going to teach. But the College head is telling me that without M.com you can not .But it is recommended by the ICWAI ,Kolkata that one can become lecturer in commerce after ICWAI qualification.So pl. advise me & clarify my doubt.
