Which Subjects to take to Become a Commerce Lecturer through NET exam?


I want to become a commerce lecturer. I have to take up the UGC NET exam. But i dont know which subjects i will have to take up. Could someone please give me the details.

Dear Friend

If you are aspiring to become a lecturer in Commerce dept. then you will have to choose COMMERCE paper for UGC-NET examination.
Apart from that you can also choose Economics paper which also incorporates some subject of Commerce.
But, it will depend on your current knowledge and interest. Because you will be teaching after that and you should be good in whatever you are going to teach.

there is a clause on ur website that candidate may appear for ugc net exams even before they pursue m.com (final),can it happen?reply soon.

Iam a ICWAI & MBA In Finance & MKTG .I am interested to work as a lecturer in Commerce in 2 level . & applied for the same . But the College head is telling me that without M.com you can not .But it is recommended by the ICWAI ,Kolkata that one can become lecturer in commerce after ICWAI qualification.So pl. advise me & clarify my doubt.

i have completed correspondence M.com on the year 2011. But my score is 48%. Can i eligible for NET exam. if not what can i do to become a lecturer for commerce.

It needs 55% to be eligible for the net examnition.u will have to score 55% atlest.
