Re: Minimum salary of a B.Tech Chemical Engineer? in iocl,hpcl,gail,bpcl u get a starting salary of 8 lpa.in 8 months training u get 35000 rs den u start getting the salary said i.e 8lpa.......in chemical engineeing u get a very high salary.......but for it u hv to be conceptually grt.for iocl u need to clear gate n get arank within 100. |

The companies under chemical engineering: Oil India Limited, GAIL India Limited, Indraprastha Gas Limited, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited Indian Oil Corporation Limited, HPCL. These are the best companies and gave the salary minimum 20000-30000. |

In process industries they could work in positions such as a supervisor or manager, technical specialist, project manager or project engineers. so don't worry about salary it is very good . |

If you have pursued the course from reputed institutes like IIT then the salary can be as high as 10 lakhs. If you not pursued the course from reputed institutes then you can expect it to be around 3 lakhs. It is important that you have a sound conceptual knowledge. |
